Cathy Towle

Cathy Towle is a shamanic energy healer, psychic medium, sacred activist and author.

Cathy’s work focuses on how intuition, shamanic healing and a relationship to nature can reframe how people engage with their work, their families and their community. She consults with companies to develop leadership with the capacity to foster change. In private practice, Cathy works with individuals as a spiritual mentor and healer, teaching them how to embrace and navigate the change we are surrounded with. She is writing a book on Intuition, and is a contributor to the Ecological Anthology “Living Now” which will be published in 2010.

Cathy graduated from Boston College with a BA in Fine Art in 1980, and worked as a designer for many years. Her foray into energy healing and spiritual development started with the acknowledgement of a life long gift of intuition that just wouldn’t go away. She became a TeraMai Seichem Reiki Master-Teacher in 1994, was ordained as an Interfaith Minister by One Spirit Interfaith Seminary in 2005. The Forever Family Foundation Certificate Program certified Cathy as a Medium in 2006. She has also conducted Mediumship Afterlife Tests and experiments with Dianne Archangel and Dr. Emily Kelly at University of Virginia, under the supervision of Dr. Bruce Grayson. She has studied Astrology, Tarot, Hinduism, Buddhism, esoteric mystery traditions, shamanism, herbology and earth centered religion, and is the daughter of a West African spiritualist tradition called Palo.

Cathy lives in Brooklyn with her husband, son and daughter, one dog, and two cats.
